Cellulose‐Based Sustainable Composites: A Review of Systems for Applications in EMI Shielding and Sensors

Advanced functional materials that are highly efficient in shielding electromagnetic radiation and sensing applications primarily lightweight polymeric materials. In recent years, several research works on the development of polymer-based sensors interference (EMI) have been reported. Cellulosic extensively investigated for fabricating EMI gadgets sensors. Cellulose is a naturally abundant renewable material, shielding, performances cellulose-based depend their conductive network architecture. Incorporating conducting nanofillers can improve conductivity cellulose matrix composites. However, comprehensive understanding electrical response composites necessary design sensor devices. Therefore, this work provides critical overview types processing methods used, an insight into effects incorporating architectural structure cellulose, obtained properties This article expected to provide guidelines developing sustainable polymer advanced future.
